**About the role and our team**

Join our team as a Debt Collection and Prosecution Officer within Treasury

Within this role, you will review an allocated caseload of all client types in respect of both income tax and national insurance debt collection and prosecution.

Your duties will include:

- Giving advice to clients on the debt collection and prosecution procedures
- Reviewing debt cases and issuing warrants to the coroner for collection of outstanding debt
- Agreeing suitable payment arrangements, taking into account client circumstances, and monitor payment arrangements
- Reviewing appeals against interest charged and provide written reviews
- Attending court with the EO Debt Collection Technical and Prosecution Technical Officer, making accurate notes of judgement

You will promote the Income Tax Division culture and values by demonstrating a high standard of customer service and professionalism - dealing with clients both at the public counter, over the telephone or in an interview.
