This employer is based in **Huddersfield **and the successful Purchasing Administrator will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Oldham, Rochdale, Halifax, Brighouse, Bradford, and Elland.
Key Responsibilities of the Purchasing Administrator:
- Check that order acknowledgments against orders raised, are correct and resolve any variances.
- Liaise with suppliers to handle queries and provide updates on orders.
- Ensure accuracy of paperwork from suppliers and resolve any discrepancies.
- Expedite open orders to meet delivery requirements.
- Assist colleagues by chasing up quotations.
- Performing background and sanction checks on potential new suppliers.
The Successful Purchasing Administrator will have:
- Competency in using IT systems such as Outlook and MS Teams.
- Previous experience in a similar buying and/or a fast-paced administration role.
- Proficiency in cross-referencing documentation.
- Excel experience to include working with formulas, macros, and VLOOKUP’s.

- Annual Salary: £22,000 - £26,000 depending on experience.
