Kelham House Country Manor - Now in our 15th year in business our award winning, independent business providing great guest experiences in our Weddings and Events is growing and going from strength to strength.
Due to our busiest year to date, we are growing the event management team. We are looking for experienced, professional and charismatic Wedding and Event Co-ordinators to join our small but excellent, award winning team to further build our business, delight our customers and offer an excellent eye for detail in return for a generous salary, share of tips and commission plan.
**Events Manager**
**Responsibilities**:
**Sales**
- Offering appointment slots to enquiries making sure all appointments available are updated.
- Showing round new potential couples and securing the bookings following in house process.
- Contribute to promoting in house events and liaising with clients.
- Coming up with new innovative ideas that contribute to business growth and development.
- Networking with corporate companies to encourage the sale of away days.
**Admin**
- Couple management. Taking them on their planning journey from enquiry to the day following their wedding or event day and responding in a timely and professional manner.
- Building booking packs and sending them to clients.
- Ensuring all contracts are signed for all events and returned.
- Managing payments and processing them at the correct contractual schedule.
- Liaising with the kitchen team ensuring all food is ordered, dietary requirements are accommodated for, and the numbers are accurate.
- Ensuring that all Damage Deposit Bonds are returned to the clients in a timely manner.
- Gathering feedback from our clients to understand how we can improve and develop for the future.
**Daily Management**
- Part of management team guiding a team of front of house staff in delivering the best customer service through efficiency, organisation, communication, and productivity.
- Ensuring that events run smoothly to the highest standard.
- Dealing with any issues that may arise.
- Reporting on each event keeping a record of any problem solving and improvements.
- Daily management of building. Ensuring the building is opened and set for the days events and ensuring the venue is closed and secured correctly at the end of the day.
- Ensuring Food Safety & Health & Safety checks are made at the start of the day, to ensure compliance.
- Report and update senior management.
- Risk Management.
**Strategic responsibilities**
- Organise tasting evenings and open day, liaising with suppliers to creating inspiration for marrying couples.
- Work alongside the senior management team to create new exciting events to host.
- Work with recommended suppliers to organise photoshoots to boost the content available to use within our marketing.
**Skills**

**Salary**: £27,000.00 per year
