Protocol Education are currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to fill the role of Primary SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teaching Assistants in Sussex. Role Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to children with special educational needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with the classroom teacher to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt lessons to meet SEN students’ needs.
- Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment that accommodates the unique requirements of each child.
- Engage with children to facilitate their social, emotional, and educational development.
- Collaborate with other education professionals, parents, and guardians to support the wellbeing and progress of students with SEN.
**Requirements**:
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to undergo the process.
- Based in or able to commute to Brighton & Hove, East Sussex.
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to working with children.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage students and work as part of a team.
- Previous experience working with SEN children is highly desirable but not essential.
- Aspiring or experienced Teaching Assistants with a passion for special education.
- Individuals seeking to make a positive impact on the lives of children with diverse learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
