We are looking for Contact Support Runner on a permanent basis, which could be the opportunity you have been looking for to start your healthcare career

**About the role**
As part of your role you will be supporting our patients and 111 contact centre teams by managing calls from patients and healthcare professionals, updating systems as appropriate and following our operating procedures to respond to callers’ questions ensuring excellent customer care.

You will need to use your excellent communication skills, professional manner and calm approach to be able to respond quickly and positively to our patient’s queries. You will also need to use your IT skills to accurately record information quickly with a high level of accuracy.

Our patients are treated with empathy, respect and consideration, so you will need to use your experience and skills to effectively deal with calls and queries.

Our 111 teams are friendly, welcoming and the patients are at the heart of everything they do, so you will be a crucial part of an excellent team and customer care focused environment.

We have the following hours below available:

- between 08:00 - 23:00 (Saturday and Sunday)

**Training and Support**
You will have support and training to be a confident and effective Contact Support Runner and will need to attend a one week in depth induction and training programme.

It doesn’t stop there In the future we may have opportunities for you to progress your career and you could attend further training to be able to use the NHS 111 pathways system to become a Health Advisor.

- Good basic education
- Excellent communication skills and be able to maintain confidentiality
- Be able to work well under pressure and able to organise a busy workload to meet deadlines
- Great attention to detail
- Experience using Microsoft Word & Excel
- Previous administration experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of the 111 Service- You will need to have the flexibility and adaptability to support the 111/IUC peak service when required, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.**What you will get**:
