This incredible specialist day school supports children from 5-19 years with complex needs this includes a range of Moderate Learning Difficulties and Specific Learning Disability needs including autism spectrum disorders however also supports many medical needs including but not limited to cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, degenerative conditions and sensory and physical impairments. The school currently has 125+ pupils on roll but is over subscribed year on year, the school is looking to expand in the next couple of years.
This school supports the whole child and is proud to have the facilities to support all their therapy needs on site. Ofsted have commended this school in recent reports and have credited it with being a calm and positive environment for all. In addition Ofsted and parents alike have praised the school and staff for being ambitious and resolute that the school will provide the best possible care and education for every pupil. This incredible school is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team supporting learners in their primary and secondary provision. Applicants for this post must be available on a full time basis and feel confident supporting learners with many complex needs with their individual education journey.

- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in the UK
**Responsibilities**:
- Supporting SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
- Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
