Cranleigh, Surrey, United Kingdom Randstad Full time
Job Overview

This permanent, term-time opportunity is available to start Monday-Friday 08:30-4:30pm. As a SEN Teaching Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with severe learning difficulties, including Autism and PMLD. The school is committed to offering every child a life-changing and inspiring specialist setting.

A rewarding career as a Teaching Support Specialist for SEN Learners awaits. You will be working in a welcoming team that goes the extra mile to support all members of staff. With a broad and creative curriculum, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of your students.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, resilient, and have a positive approach to supporting learners with SEN. While direct SEN experience is not essential, relevant experience of working with children or young people is required. Additionally, you will need Maths and English GCSE or equivalent. Supporting KS1-KS5 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group, and classroom basis is also a must.

You will be part of a dedicated team that communicates with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participates in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole-school training events. A competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role. Furthermore, you can expect fully funded training and qualifications, access to onsite facilities, free hot meals, and games room, as well as staff rewards and opportunities for career progression.
