As part of your role, you will:

- Provide teaching and support to pupils with Autism, following individualised curriculums
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons and activities, focusing on life skills
- Provide behaviour based support to reduce behaviours that impact quality of life
- Assist with personal care, encouraging pupils to maintain acceptable levels of hygiene (toileting, feeding)
- Monitor pupil progress and ensure teaching is appropriate and effective for their needs
- Assist with break time duties, including playground support and snack time

Desired skills and capabilities:

- Right to Work in the UK
- Minimum Grade C/4 or equivalent in English Language & Maths
- Professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with children with disabilities
- Comfortable working with children who exhibit challenging behaviour
- Ability to provide support with personal/intimate care when required
- Capacity to remain calm in high-pressure situations
- Own means of transport desireable, due to location
