This specialised SEN school is looking for a teaching...
- assistant who is compassionate and enjoys working with SEN children. You would be joining a team whose aim is to provide the best educational, care and transition pathways for children and young people from ages 7 - 19 years who experience difficulties with learning and communication because of their special or complex educational, health or care needs. This role will include you working with children in KS1 and 2 on a 1:1 and small group basis.- In the role you can benefit from:

Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing resources and equipment for pupils to fulfil tasks
- Tidying away and storing correctly the equipment and resources post-lesson
- Engaging with children of varying abilities which may include setting additional tasks/challenges for overachievers or supporting underachievers
- Helping to manage class behaviour
- Supporting group activities (including sports activities and school trips)
- Ensuring the safety and safeguarding of children

Key requirements for the position include:
- Experience of working with Special educational needs.
- GCSE Maths and English grades 9 - 4 (A* - C)- A qualification in childcare or youth work is desirable but not essential
