**Job Title: Procurement Administrator**

**Pay: £13.07ph**

**Location: KT22 7AD**

**Hours: Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm**

**Trust Location: Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust**

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- To process approved requisitions into official purchase orders in line with Standing Financial Instructions and Standing Orders via the Trusts electronic procurement system or Government Procurement Card.
- To achieve best value for money during the processing of purchase orders by using approved suppliers and National or Local contracts where possible.
- Liaise with customers to help determine their needs and assist with any problems concerning their requirements to ensure orders are placed in a timely and efficient manner. Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety (including Safety Alerts that require product recall), Fire Regulations and Medical Devices Policy.
- Handling and responding to purchase order queries received from Customers and Suppliers to facilitate a timely resolution.
- As part of a team maintain the Trusts’ electronic catalogues.

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to complete your role effectively always to the highest standard

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Previous experience working in Procurement (NHS experience would be advantageous but is not essential)
- Good time keeping,
- Eligibility to complete quickly,
- Work accurately and quickly.
- Able to follow processes.
