Reed are currently looking for a Logistics Administrator (Purchaser) to join the team of one of our most prestigious clients based in Preston.
**Job Summary**
Working within the Purchasing Department, the role will consist of placing Purchase Orders, expediting, updating correct information on the system and all other admin roles
The role will be looking after imports, so will be dealing with suppliers from all around the world - USA, Europe and the Far East. So experience is beneficial, but on-the-job training will be provided.
**Key Tasks**:
Placing Purchase Orders each day
Checking off supplier Order Acknowledgments / Confirmations
Expediting all outstanding order lines
Update system with accurate data
Work with the Category Buyer / Purchasing Manager with any supplier queries - deliveries / pricing / etc
Dealing with imports - arranging shipments from outside the UK
General enquiries
**Working Hours**:
8am-5pm Monday to Friday,
45 minutes lunch Mon-Thu / 1 hour on Friday
