We are seeking an experienced Admionistrator & Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing various events, ensuring their success from start to finish. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be crucial in creating memorable experiences for our clients.
- Implement actions to meet and maintain administrative and financial standards
- Assist the development of the philosophy, goals and objectives for the administrative and financial practice
- Evaluate standards of administrative and financial competence
- To develop and plan programmes, outings and events, staffing the events and overseeing the implementation of activities. Ensure the programme reflects the wishes and preferences of the current population of the organisation
- To support and enable service users to access social networks and maintain personal interests in accordance with best practice, agreed standards, legislation and within the financial budget

To maintain skills at a current level and to undertake such training and development as required, from time-to-time, to maintain and progress knowledge

- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor management, and budgeting
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and preferences
- Develop event timelines and schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time
- Manage event logistics, such as setup, teardown, and equipment rental
- Oversee event registration and ticketing processes
- Coordinate with marketing team to promote events through various channels
- Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth execution
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement

- QuickBooks: Familiarity with financial software for budgeting and expense tracking
- Typing skills: Accurate and efficient typing abilities for data entry tasks

The Administrator’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- To maintain administrative and financial skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice
- To provide administrative and financial services for the company in accordance with current best practice
- To supervise the administrative and financial services within the company in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, in line with accepted best practice and within the financial plans agreed from time-to-time

The Events Coordinator’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Organise and plan activity programmes reflecting service users’ preferences
- Produce newsletters to inform service users and their relatives/friends about what is going on
- Support service users to access the internet and other communication methods such as letter writing, Skype and FaceTime
- Plan events within allocated budget
- Ensure service users are at the heart of events and programmes to enhance their wellbeing
- Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
