**Job summary**:
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, reliable, enthusiastic Diagnostic Receptionist Coordinator to join the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) based at Washwood Heath. The CDC offers diagnostics services to UHB patients.
This post is full time (37.5 hours) and a 12-month fixed term or secondment role with potential to become permanent.
The Diagnostic Service at the CDC operates Monday - Sunday, 8:00am - 8pm.
Flexible working is required covering a 7-day service across 5 days, 37.5 hours per week. This role will involve weekend work and the Bank holidays on a rotational basis.
The Imaging Directorate provides 24/7 service delivery and has an established track record of service re-design and transformation. This vacancy offers an excellent opportunity to join a professional and dedicated Imaging team committed to providing a first-class service.
**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
Responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of an efficient and effective administrative reception team.
To participate in own supervision with manager and provide junior staff with formal supervision.
Undertake Mandatory training that is deemed essential.
To assist in the learning, development, and assessment of junior staff.
To deliver training /mentorship with own team.
Deal effectively with complaints, queries either face to face or via telephone and escalate concerns where necessary directly to your line manager.
Participate in the induction and training of new reception staff.
Provide first point of contact for all reception staff and escalate to line manager.
Highlight and escalate any sickness or lateness within the reception team in a timely fashion to ensure continuity of the reception service.
Ensure all administrative processes and procedures that are in place, are always maintained and up to date. Any changes implemented at time of notification.
Maintain stock control such as stationery supplies, equipment, and uniforms for the reception service.
Order equipment and consumables as and when and required by services at CDC. Responsible for the receipt, distribution and replacement of stock.
To maintain the efficient filing system in place to include, correspondence, reports relevant to the reception service.
Analyse day lists for mobile scanners and be able to use excel.

- Good General Education (e.g. GCSE English and Maths A-C) GCSE Level 9-4
- Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an administrative environment

- Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Word, Excel and Outlook)
