We are seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator to join our team temporarily covering maternity leave. This office-based role is to support the management and the care team in their daily roles helping them perform their roles so they can deliver exceptional care.

Being a Care Coordinator with Nest Homecare is more than management of schedules, you will also support the Registered Care Manager with management of the care team and recruitment, and ensuring we always deliver the highest possible standard of care to our clients.

This role is to cover Maternity leave to it is a temporary contract for 9 -10 months starting beginning June 2024.

**Key Aspects of the role**:

- First point of contact for enquiries and queries.
- Utilise the Care Management system to manage staff and client Rotas:

- Ensure continuity and consistency
- Ensure staff contracted hours are met
- Manage cost-effectiveness of visits inc. travel
- Regularly review clock-in status to check times of care visits.
- Ensure timely and accurate approval of timesheets
- Support and manage the staff team in conjunction with RCM. Managing the team of care staff overseeing mandatory compliance, monitoring well-being and ensuring competency. This includes spot checks / supervisions - recording and updating information in timely manner, taking appropriate action where needed. Organising all aspects of team meetings and team building events.
- Staff Recruitment. To manage the process from identifying needs / requirements through to advertising, interviewing and induction.
- Staff Training in conjunction with RCM - proactively identify training gaps and needs and propose solutions by working with training provider/s.
- Work closely with RCM and Senior Care Assistant to ensure that high standards of care are maintained.
- Assist RCM in other aspects such as ordering meds, liaising with other healthcare professionals.
- Partake in On Call Rota - shared with RCM and Senior Care Assistant.
- Attend Care visits when necessary & in emergencies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 10 months

**Salary**: £25,500.00-£27,500.00 per year

- A-Level or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- providing care: 2 years (required)
- Care Coordinating: 1 year (preferred)

- Driving Licence (required)
