(Interim) Head of Business Change

Dublin or Belfast with hybrid working

£75,000 - £90,000 plus car allowance and benefits

Change Digital Recruitment are working with one of Ireland’s leading energy providers to recruit a Head of Business Change. This exciting role is responsible for leading the business change function at a time of significant change for the organisation andwithin the energy sector.

With offices in Dublin and Belfast this role reports directly into the Managing Director and will be a part of the leadership team. The role has responsibility for several functions within the organisation and for delivery of programmes and projects thatwill have a longer-term impact on how they operate and improve services to customers.

In addition to the programmes and projects that are in the pipeline the organisation is also transitioning from Waterfall to Agile ways of working so previous experience of transition from waterfall to agile would be highly advantageous for this role.

Responsibilities for the role will include:

- Drive and deliver business change and business readiness activities in support of the delivery of transformation across the organisation’s portfolio
- Work with key stakeholders to define the desired future state of the organisation based on the business strategy and the corresponding change programme
- Lead and manage the Business Change team (comprising of the Digital, Digital, Analytics, Digital Product, Business Support, Innovation, Industry Change and Sales Force Automation functions) and work with third party contractors supporting the business

Experience and skills required for the role will include:

- Previous experience in the Business Change discipline delivering into five or more project lifecycles in complex change or transformation programmes, ideally with both agile and waterfall methodologies
- Working knowledge of regulation, industry change, anti-competitive and anti-bribery legislation and data protection requirements, sufficient to assess risk independently for projects and consult with relevant specialists as appropriate
- Previous experience of working in a regulated environment and delivering transformation would be highly advantageous for this role
- A strong leader with experience and the ability to lead teams and individuals to successfully deliver
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge and experience of Waterfall and Agile delivery is a compulsory requirement for this role
