**We have a new and exciting opportunity, at Sunsail and The Moorings We are currently looking for a new Sales Team Leader to come and join our lively team based in Surbiton.**

We pride ourselves on inspiring and advising our customers ensuring we deliver a fantastic end to end service. In this role, you will lead our sales team in delivering a premium level of service to all customers through knowledge, skills and experience. You will show a passion for travel and people management, inspiring the team to excel in their day-to-day roles and supporting in their future development.

We offer hybrid working, with 3 days per week in our Surbiton based head office and then the flexibility to work remotely on other days. We also offer a generous commission scheme and travel opportunities to experience the product

**What you will be doing**
- Support a seamless end to end customer journey
- Increase sales and service, performance within the team. Monitor call volumes and match resources, ensuring that targets and service levels are achieved
- Encourage a hard-working, fun environment and build monthly incentives to ensure the team is always motivated
- Mentoring, training and developing the team through all customer interactions
- Identify training requirements (product, process & soft skills) and develop appropriate training based on the team's needs, conducting weekly training sessions to encourage constant improvement
- Ensure smooth integration of new team members, ensuring they receive the relevant induction training
- Monitor performance, timekeeping and service levels and conduct regular 121s, reviews and daily team talks including team huddles on the sales floor
- Ensure the team are up to date with the latest offers and changes in product or processes
- Update the wider business on sales and service performance, highlighting any risk & opportunity areas
- Produce a weekly sales report and attend weekly trading meetings
- Take responsibility for customer escalation calls, concerns or feedback received by team members and take appropriate action
- Manage the sales roster with the assistance of the Sales Manager
- Attend and/or lead educational trips when required
- Develop strong working relationships with Brokers & Group Agents
- Manage our communication templates through our CRM system

**What we are looking for**
- Able to manage people and drive high performance, with proven success in working in a targeted sales environment
- Customer focused and the ability to take ownership and solve complex customer issues
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of company business plans, objectives and strategy, including competitor awareness
- Lead the team by positive example in all areas including attendance, punctuality, sales ability, willingness to learn and going above and beyond
- You will be confident, high energy, able to empower and support others as well as demonstrate initiative to improve processes and deliver results
- Highly flexible, positive and resilient with the ability to be innovative and create a fun environment
- A passion for travel and sailing is always welcome and the ability to travel and support sales events as needed is highly desirable
