About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Team Leader to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of cleaning staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality cleaning services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain procedures, systems, and resources for delivering cleaning services
  • Manage a team of cleaning staff to ensure contracted services are delivered to agreed contract specifications and standards
  • Respond to service shortfalls and ensure timely resolution
  • Manage resource allocation and reporting
  • Support cleaning staff with online training and development
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Lead by example and create a positive team culture
Requirements
  • Previous experience of leadership and team management
  • Knowledge and experience of cleaning practices and health and safety
  • Methodical and meticulous approach to work
  • Good IT skills and ability to understand and interpret written and verbal instructions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
