**Payroll Administrator - £21,000 - £24,000 p/a DOE**
Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a Payroll Clerk in a market leading organisation, based around the Tamworth area.
**About Our Client**
Our client is a leading provider of community-based social care and has a great team with a fantastic work environment, and you will be reporting to the Payroll Manager.
**About The Role**
Working in a friendly environment as a Payroll Administrator, you will be part of a team ensuring the pay (weekly, monthly and four weekly) for approx. 2500 members of staff.
Duties to include but not limited to:

- Assist in ensuring that all payroll related items are correctly recorded in the company’s accounting records
- Ensuring the company abides with all current HMRC rules regarding pay and employment
- Liaising with department colleagues, branches, and other support team members to provide assistance with all payroll related matters
- Assist in preparing end of period accounting reports, exception reports, statistics, and analyses, whilst also undertaking all end of year processing for the HMRC submissions
- Creating new starters, including liaising with our training department, Preparing ID badges and processing P45/P46’s on the system and with HMRC

**What we need?**
- Experience in a Payroll position
- Experience in a data entry/administration position
- Experience using **SAGE 50** payroll user
- Ability to travel to Tamworth
- Ability to travel into the office for 5 days per week
