**The Opportunity:
We are seeking an outstanding Administrator to join the Advanced Care Research Centre Academy (ACRC Academy). The Academy provides a cohort-based, 4-year PhD programme in the field of advanced care, which aims to produce the next generation of leaders in this field, who will go on to transform care for the elderly.
The postholder will provide high-level administrative support to the ACRC Academy team and PhD students. This will involve undertaking a range of duties, including general administration, administration of the teaching programme and the research phase, event organisation, communications, student support and financial processing.
The post is based in the Bioquarter.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Previous experience and track-record of administration
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Capacity for independent, accurate, unsupervised work, able to use initiative to resolve day-to-day challenges
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with people at all levels while being positive, friendly and tactful
- Good organisational and time management skills.
