Event Coordinator

Are you passionate about creating memorable experiences and ensuring the success of events? We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events at our venue.

**Duties**:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and objectives
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, and transportation
- Manage event budgets and ensure financial targets are met
- Develop event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure all event logistics are in place
- Oversee event setup, including decorations, seating arrangements, and signage
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
- General Pub & Hotel Administration in assistance to the General Manager

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members
- Attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality industry practices
- Experience in fundraising events is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Please note due to the nature of the role and working in the hospitality sector the hours of work include weekend as most events and functions are booked during this time. The proposed hours are Wednesday to Friday 9 till 5 and Saturday and Sunday event set up and hosting. Please contact us if you wish to discuss this more.
