**Job Specification - Events Administrator**
Location: Banana HQ - Bury St Edmunds
Contract Type: Fixed Term / Part-Time (4 days per week)
Reports To: Senior Sales Manager
**Team Overview**
The Go Ape Event Sales team create memorable events for large groups including corporate customers, schools, youth organisations, and others. The team both receive incoming requests and proactively generates leads, creating tailored adventures.
**Working Closely and in partnership with** the Corporate/Education Events, Inbound and Outbound Sales Executives, the Site Host and Manager.
**Role Profile**
We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious person to support the growth of the business. The successful applicant needs to be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and perform well under pressure.
**Skills & Requirements**
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Support the events team in overseeing all stages of an event, from enquiry through to execution, within agreed service standards when required.
- To help support the events team in peak periods, processing bookings and payments through an online booking and CRM system.
- Coordinate third party suppliers and agreements with the Events Manager and Site Managers.
- Liaise with finance to ensure that external/internal events are invoiced accurately and in accordance with financial regulations.
- To help support the team by creating financial updates for both sites and individuals each week.
- You will have strong project administration skills, a professional manner and the ability to work with a range of personnel and operate in a complex environment with a focus on delivery.
- You will have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience of additional packages such as CRM and online booking systems would be desirable.
- You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an approachable manner.
- You will have the ability to work in a dynamic, flexible and continually changing environment and willingness to work as required to get the job done to the highest standards.
- You will have the ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
- To be a strong team player but also have the confidence to work without supervision
**Reward Package**
**Salary**: £24,000 per annum (pro-rated)
**Holiday Entitlement**: 20 days per annum (pro-rated)
**Working Hours**: 30 hours per week
**Contract Duration**: Starting from 1st March for up to 6 months
