- You will be part of the Ballard Motive Solutions (BMS) Project Management Office (PMO) team, assisting Project Managers and the Head of Programmes, supporting the PMO day-to-day activities during the development, execution and delivery of projects.- Within this role you will also engage with other areas of the business, specifically engineering and supply chain teams, in addition to commercial, finance and business development/strategy.- There will also be scope for professional development towards a Project Management role.**Our Values**:

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Support PMs with project planning, tracking, monitoring, and reporting of project performance using project management tools.- Support technical administration activities throughout the project management competencies of scope, time, cost, quality, risk, resource planning and communications.- Attend internal team and external stakeholder/customer meetings and events as required, capturing minutes and actions accordingly. Creating and maintaining List of Open Points (LOP) records.- Support PM’s driving project action items forward, engaging with wider team members to provide regular status updates.- Create, revise, improve PMO documentation templates to support continuous improvement working methodologies and efficiency drives.- Communicate with PM’s and stakeholders to ensure project meetings and visits are managed.- Create project reports/presentations for internal and external communication updates.- Create and manage strong relationships with new & existing customers, partners and stakeholders.- Support Portfolio Management activities - specifically maintaining project status Dashboards during project/product model lifecycles.- General Duties
- Undertake any other duties / tasks assigned, which may include providing support to other departments.
- Suggest & Implement approved improvements to company processes.
- Represent Ballard Motive Solutions in a professional manner
- Be knowledgeable about the full range of Ballard Motive Solutions work.

- To follow all Health and Safety procedures.
- To identify any Health & Safety concerns in your day to day work and escalate as appropriate.

**Person Specification**

**Knowledge**

Essential
- A good awareness of project/product model lifecycles and Project Management methodologies.
- Knowledge of business processes, methods and quality assurance systems.
- Knowledge of engineering/design and manufacturing.

**Skills & Experience**

Essential
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- A high level of interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others.
- Be self-motivated and results focused.
- Advanced MS office skills.
- Proficient/advanced Microsoft Project skills.

Desirable:

- Preferably have experience of using Google Apps work tools.
- Preferably have an interest in renewable energy and sustainability.
- Previous experience of working in a PMO environment.
- Experience of working in an (ideally automotive) engineering/design and manufacturing environment.

**Qualifications**

Essential:

- Demonstrable equivalent experience.

Desirable:

- Degree qualified preferred but not essential.
