CWP Estates Department have an exciting opportunity for an experienced project assistant to join our Projects team. Duties for this role will include supporting project managers with the procurement of capital and revenue schemes, raising of purchase order requisitions, diary management, preparing agendas for meetings, attending meetings where you will be expected to take and distribute minutes. You will be required to maintain accurate and up to date log of schemes, including project plans and correspondence which may be of a commercially sensitive nature and confidential. Support for training within this role will be available.

We are looking for a motivated and resourceful individual to join our team. You should possess commitment to team working and innovative delivery of excellent standards of work.

We will ensure that you have access to internal opportunities for development with access to supervision and appraisal

The applicant will also be expected to be able to organise and prioritise their own workload on a daily basis to ensure that time deadlines are met and that urgent work is accommodated.

This is a varied role and can be demanding at times whilst supporting the team. The applicant will also be expected to provide cross cover for administration colleagues as and when required.

CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies.

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
