**The Opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Finance operations team as a Temporary Credit Controller.
We are looking for someone to positively contribute and participate in the development and improvement of services provided.
**What you’ll be doing**
As a Temporary Credit Controller, you will be responsible:
The Team:
- Reviewing and chasing all Care debt in line with the Aster Dunning process.
- Analysing old debt and chasing as appropriate.
- Allocating payments accurately to invoices.
- Recognising the customer base and the approach to different customers corporate or care customers.
- Agreeing payment plans and ensuring that these are adhered to.
- Produce an aged creditor report monthly to send to all stakeholders.
- Regular meetings with Head of Financial operations to ensure debt levels are reducing.
- Liaising with Debt collection agencies
You will be responsible for:
- Analysing the aged creditors report and correcting any errors.
- Month End reconciliations.
- Produce data from the systems to present information to the business.
**About you**
You need to be educated to GCSE level with grade C/level 5 passes in both English and Maths. A financial qualification is desired but not essential.
You will have experience of working in a busy Credit Control team with experience of working with computerised accounts systems. You’ll also be a proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite.
You will need to be an effective communicator, establishing and building relationships across the business to enable collaborative working where applicable.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so you’ll need to be able to juggle conflicting priorities and juggle a demanding workload whilst retaining a good eye for detail.
You will be able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
