Strategy & Planning Senior Administrator

The post represents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic forward thinking team that drives the Trust's Strategy and Planning function.
You will provide personal assistant support to the Associate Director of Strategy and Transformation, ensuring an effective system of agenda setting, minute taking, review and distribution of actions from key meetings
To generate briefing materials for the Associate Director of Strategy and Transformation ahead of a series of key meetings.
Programme Support
- Provide a PA service to the Associate Director of Strategy and Transformation
- Manage the diaries and co-ordinate the activities of the Associate Director
- Draft agendas for the Associate Director required
- Minute meetings accurately and distribute in a timely and appropriate fashion.
- Arrange internal & external meetings
- Design and implementation of administrative processes within the Programme as required
- To manage confidential information appropriately
- Plan and organise workshops and meetings for potentially large number of delegates
- Maintain accurate records of annual leave, sickness, and emergency contact details
- Distribution of regular communications used by the programme to keep stakeholders informed.
- Make a positive contribution to the Team and undertake any necessary duties (including covering for colleagues)
- Develop presentations, reports, performance metrics and other complex documents as required
- To support the administration activities within the Programme Team, in particular:
- Provision of specific programme support as directed
Leading Change
- Ensures that administration fits with the overall programme direction, strategic organisational priorities, vision and culture
- Actively promote/ look to improve administration processes within the programme
- Participate in audit/assurance exercises for the team

We operate from three main hospitals - Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community health care premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services.
WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.
All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
