We are recruiting for a Showroom Administrator to join our small growing team. We are based in Kendal, Cumbria with a showroom on Shap Road. We are looking for a Full-Time member of staff to join us working Monday to Friday with an additional Saturday every 3 months. We are a fast-paced business with many different projects ongoing at any given time. Due to this you must be able to work efficiently, be able to juggle multiple projects and prioritise your workload to ensure our first-class customer service is maintained. As a Showroom Administrator you would be responsible for serving customers in the showroom, quoting for bespoke products, liaising with suppliers, maintaining customer relationships, processing orders and more. As a small team we all share responsibility for the day-to-day administration tasks that occur when working with customers, suppliers, fitters, to keep operations organised, efficient, and the showroom looking its best. We have ambitious growth plans for the business, and you will be pivotal in helping deliver our plans. Due to the nature of the role, this position would suit someone who has a creative nature and enjoys all things interiors, home furnishings and fabric.

**Responsibilities/ A Day in the life.**
- Manage sampling requirements.
- Creating quotations.
- Follow up on quotations.
- Serving customers in the showroom.
- Order processing.
- Liaising with suppliers.
- Sourcing products and fabrics for customers.

**Requirements/Skills**
- Knowledge of the major fabric houses and an understanding of curtain and roman blind making (Desirable)
- Experience in a customer-facing administrative role
- Experience in working out fabric quantities for curtains and blind (Desirable)
- Ability to work to room specifications including undertaking space planning and preparation of layouts (Desirable).
- Highly organised and reliable.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Computer literate.
- Good communicator.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- An interest in interiors, home furnishings and fabrics.

**Salary**: From £23,000.00 per year
