Working within Process & Systems, Centre of Excellence (CoE), you will be a key member of the IT Solutions Team and will lead the development and implementation of business-critical process and IT improvement projects within the Process & Systems Group. As the Implementation Lead, when you join a world leader in energy, you’ll have the opportunity to play a central role in accelerating the transition to Net Zero and a carbon neutral energy system.

Importantly, you’ll focus on leading the development of critical process and IT projects, linked to key RIIO ED1 & RIIO T2 output drivers and efficiencies and be accountable for management, delivery of critical process and IT projects, to agreed quality and project timescales, demonstrating business value in solutions deployed. Brining prior stakeholder management experience, you will be able to lead engagement across the SPEN businesses to achieve input into projects being delivered and achieve buy in to the solutions being developed.

**_What you’ll be doing_**

In this vital role you will lead the implementation of the necessary changes within SPEN to ensure enduring processes are in place to capture and continually update the information requirements specified, develop new and innovative methodologies and toolkits that will demonstrate value to SPEN and be responsible for the management of external analysts and support resource as required to deliver key objectives.

**_What you’ll bring_**

As a credible, future-focused, and motivated individual you’ll have experience of experience of delivering complex projects to time and budget, delivering successful outcomes and the necessary changes to business processes for implementation, with the ability to translate data via algorithms into management information and output measures and be able to devise solutions to complex problems/challenges and in particular translating business requirements into working visual solutions. With prior knowledge and experience in a similar role will help you to take the lead, maintain and develop data management systems, including tracking/maintaining and updating software, licenses, spatial data, metadata, review of software packages, liaising with existing SPEN IT & business resources and developing data standards within the company in line with the overall Quality Assurance systems.
