Construction Engineering Lead Role

With a team of over 1000 skilled professionals spread across 15 offices globally, we specialize in designing and delivering engineering solutions for various sectors, including Property, Transport, Ports and Marine, Water, Renewables, and Defence. Collaborating with industry leaders, we aim to create impactful projects that positively influence people's lives.
Our London office is seeking an Engineering Lead for our Construction Engineering (CE) team. In this role, you will collaborate with other Discipline Leads to support and expand the team, working closely with structural, civil, infrastructure, and construction engineering disciplines. Leading business development and marketing efforts, establishing and nurturing a client network.
# Collaborating with business leaders to integrate construction engineering services into UK projects.
# Developing and implementing a unified approach to the CE discipline across our offices, facilitating global project delivery.
# Managing contractual obligations on projects and participating in both internal and external project team meetings.
# Leading projects and coordinating designs with other consultants.
# Independently drafting reports, specifications, and proposals with a focus on commercial aspects.
# Managing projects from inception to completion, including budgeting and client management.

As the Discipline Lead, you will play a senior role in strengthening our engineering capabilities and supporting our teams. At least 15 years of relevant experience, ideally within engineering consultancy or the construction industry, with expertise in temporary works engineering or related fields.
Proficiency in relevant engineering standards and guidelines, with strong communication and time management skills.
Experience in managing projects commercially and working across various project design stages.
