We have a vacancy for an HR Administrator to provide effective HR and generalist admin support as well as advice and guidance on employment matters to the HR Director. This role may be attractive to an individual with experience in providing admin and generalist HR support looking for a full or part time role. You will need to be self-driven and confident in managing your own time and workload and delivering a service to external applicants as well as internal HOP employees.

You will:

- Play an active role in all aspects of the recruitment process. Working with recruitment agencies, provision of contracts, offer letters and documentation ensuring a high-quality employee experience through recruitment and on boarding
- Play an active role in all HR and social initiatives pertaining to Employee Engagement
- Work with the Training Director to support the delivery of the training function including being a point of contact for the Apprenticeship scheme HOP deliver
- Manage the HR software including performance management documentation, absence and holiday function
- Assist with our work experience programme.
- Be responsible for general HR administration: ride to work scheme, government sponsorship account, childcare vouchers, healthcare cash plan
- Manage our social value initiatives in schools and colleges; providing a link between HOP and local school career teams, organising HOP Engineers to attend career fairs and events
- Produce reports for the board: absence, turnover, training and recruitment costs etc.
- Work with the HR Director to manage the Investors in People Accreditation, playing an active role in preparing for audits and communication outcomes and items for improvement
- Carry out administrative duties to support the wider admin support team where required

Person Specification:

- Experience & Qualifications:_
- CIPD Level 3
- Experience working as an HR Administrator/Generalist (1 year minimum)
- Essential skills/competencies_
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a varied workload
- Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
- Driven and determined
- Practical and logical; able to take time to consider solutions to issues
- Personal attributes and other requirements _
- Passionate about HR and people management
- Enjoys being customer facing, working with people at all levels
- Reliability and integrity required when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- Enthusiastic and practical
- Ability to work calmly under pressure

**Salary**: From £24,000.00 per year
