Business Analyst Redditch £40,000 - £50,000
I am currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join a successful organisation based in the UK. The Business Analyst will be responsible for building strong and engaging relationships with the business to clearly define business requirements and processesTranslate complex IT-related concepts into terms the business can readily understand and relate to.
The Business Analyst will work with various financial and commercial teams on clearly defining and documenting requirements relating to change around the ERP and Commercial Systems; Produce approved project documentation which meets the demands of the projectgovernance; Contribute to the quality and service improvement initiatives within the department; Clearly define MI/BI and reporting requirements, particularly about financial and commercial reporting activities, and translate these into the delivery teams;Help to define the businesses BI strategy; Manage small projects throughout the project life cycle and individual aspects of larger projects.
The Business Analyst will have experience in delivering complex business solutions through analysis, development and UAT, including partnership outsourced supply chain; Strong analytical skills and knowledge of multiple analysis methodologies; In-depth understandingof the development lifecycle and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile etc.); Proven track record of creating clear, concise deliverables that reflect a deep understanding of business needs; Hands-on experience writing user stories; An ability to motivate individualsto undertake new and challenging tasks and to deliver commitments; Effective planning and prioritisation skills to manage team tasks in an appropriate way to deliver on project commitments.
It is essential that the Business Analyst has a degree level qualification or equivalent professional experience; BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis and significant experience in a business analyst role or similar in an IT Environment. It is desirablethat the Business Analyst has experience in ITIL and working in an agile environment.
