Due to the ongoing success of Coriel Orthopaedic Group and the recent acquisition of The Coriel Clinic in Doncaster, we are now looking to expand our office-based support function.

**Job description**

The role of Practice Receptionist / Administrative Support is to meet & greet patients and visitors to The Coriel Clinic and provide administrative support to the Assistant Practice Manager and Practice Manager, ensuring a high level of customer service and patient satisfaction.

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is an essential part of the job, along with the ability to work autonomously and under your own initiative in a fast-paced environment. There will be occasions when the postholder will be wholly responsible for the day-to-day running of the clinic and associated business.

A high standard of integrity and maintaining confidentiality is key for this role.

This role is office based at our clinic in Doncaster (DN2).

The clinic’s opening hours are Monday to Friday 0800-2030 with occasional Saturday clinics.

The role is up to 8 hours per day (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break).

Shift patterns will vary from 0800 start to 2030 finish.

**Main duties**

Meet & greet patients, practitioners, and other visitors to the clinic.

Inputting patient information into our in-house practice software (PPM).

Managing the practice inbox & responding to patient queries.

Being the first point of contact for telephone enquiries.

Chasing outstanding enquiries with hospitals & other medical locations.

Posting invoices onto PPM.

Accepting patient payments.

Requesting surgery quotes from hospitals.

Typing clinical letters & patient communication.

Uploading letters into practice software.

Supporting the management team in chasing overdue payments.

Occasional attendance at promotional events as required by the business.

**Areas of responsibility**

Meet & greet patients, practitioners, and other visitors.

Provide support to Coriel personnel as required (in an administrative capacity).

To support the Assistant Practice Manager in the day-to-day administrative operation of Coriel Orthopaedic Group and The Coriel Clinic.

Provide a high level of customer service across all areas of the business.

Maintain flexibility in the support offered to the administrative functions of the business.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

Educated to GCSE standard.

**Knowledge & experience**

Experience in general administrative tasks is essential.

Confident telephone manner.

Understanding medical terminology is advantageous but not essential.

Audio typing experience & competency.

Basic First Aid and Health & Safety training is advantageous but not essential (training will be provided).

**Skills & aptitudes**

Ability to work in fast paced environment.

Ability to work under own initiative.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

High level of spoken and written English.

Good listener & ability to interpret/understand audio dictation and transfer to written documentation.

A good level of IT literacy, MS Office user.

Able to work under pressure to demanding time pressures and to meet deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: £21,500.00-£24,000.00 per year
