Talent Acquisition Co-ordinator

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will join our UK Talent Acquisition team reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager and providing the very best level of recruitment support to our 7 performance centres Bristol - Filton, Global Technology Centre and WesternApproach, Cowes, Portsmouth, Blythe Valley (Solihull) and Luton. The Talent team are responsible for a diverse range of roles from global and regional support roles and site engineering roles to early careers, across both volume and specialist support. There’salso the opportunity to get involved in helping support the roll out of our UK Talent Acquisition strategy where we have a number of interesting projects to gain experience from. Primary responsibility will be supporting our early careers programs but alongsidethis there will be lots of scope to get involved in other recruitment activities. The other great thing about this role is its hybrid working so location can be flexible, we just ask that 2 days a week are spent in our head office at Solihull Blythe Valleywhere we enjoy getting together as a team (and having a team lunch).
Job Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with the Talent Acquisition team, HR teams and Program Managers to co-ordinate the attraction and selection process for our Global Graduate Program, Internship Programs and Apprenticeship Programs
- Support with the creation of recruitment collateral material for early careers attraction
- Be responsible for the research, co-ordination and attendance to early careers attraction events including virtual events, careers fairs, liaising with and attending school, college and university attraction events
- Manage video interview activity for early careers campaigns including set up, screening and with supporting the build of new technologies within our video interview platform to support our employer brand
- Research new trends for early careers attraction to ensure innovation and to support our strategy with attracting the very best talent to our brand
- Write compelling and creative vacancy advertisements
- Ensure applicant tracking system is kept up to date with all assigned vacancy activity
- Support with campaign management of Team Leaders, Group Leaders and Site Leaders including co-ordination of assessment centres
- Provide administrative support including raising purchase orders, booking meeting rooms, catering requests and dealing with recruitment related queries
- Be willing to jump in and support Talent Acquisition team with vacancy management during peak activity times
- Support with Talent Acquisition project activity
- Be an advocate for the GKN brand embodying our five principles
**Requirements**:
Essential
- Demonstrable recruitment experience gained from a fast paced agency or in house environment
- Experience of using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- High volume recruitment experience
- Experience of stakeholder engagement at all levels
- Interview scheduling experience
- Experience of varied talent attraction methods including advertising and direct sourcing via social media, job boards and professional networking
- Competent in using Microsoft software including Excel, Word and Outlook
Desirable
- Experience of recruiting within the aerospace or engineering industries
- Experience of attending talent attraction events such as careers fairs
- Video interview platforms experience
- Early careers campaign management experience
- Experience of leading or supporting assessment centre
