Solar Service Solutions is making a big impact on the Solar PV & Thermal market in Southern England and we’re looking for a super organised and experienced Assistant to help run our Commercial Sales Team.
This is a great opportunity to become part of a very fast growing industry and to work with a dynamic team that has ambitious growth plans.
You will be a key member of our team providing excellent sales support to our Commercial business development and sales team. Experience within the solar industry would be an advantage but not essential as we will give you full training.
The Role:
- Handling inbound calls from businesses looking to install solar on their premises
- Dealing with general enquiries
- Helping to run BDM's diary and appointments
- Booking in jobs / appointments
- Use of CRM system
- Customer service calls
- Provide admin support to the sales team
- Updating databases and brochures
- Processing sales orders & contracts
- Quoting jobs
- General office administration
- Help in other departments during busy times
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years previous experience working within sales / administration role
- Experience within Solar PV industry would be an advantage
- Confident telephone manner and excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work on own initiative to a high standard in a small team
- Excellent written communication and numeracy skills
- Proven IT skills using MS Office including Excel to produce reports
- Ability to work accurately meeting tight deadlines
- Interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation skills
