We have a full time vacancy for a Business Support Assistant whose core focus will be to support the work of our frontline practitioners enabling them to achieve the best outcomes and prioritise direct work with children and families and ensure timely communications with service users and partner agencies.
The successful applicant will work as part of a team, supporting the Early Help Hub (EHH) and Multi Agency Referral Unit (MARU) through the delivery of high-quality business support services. Duties will involve a range of tasks including the monitoring of admin mailboxes and the distribution of correspondence and referrals. The role will may also include, records management, meeting administration, detailed recording of complex meetings within strict timescale, financial transactions and input of information to the Case Management System.
Due to our evolving ways of working, the role will require you to work remotely from home however, when there is a business need to do so, there will be a requirement to work from New County Hall in Truro. We work flexibly to most effectively support the people, services and organisations that we support and will discuss this with you during the recruitment process. There will be a requirement to assist with the delivery of business support within our core business hours, Monday - Thursday 08.45 - 17.15 & Friday’s 08.45 - 16.45.
This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.
