We are currently recruiting a part time office assistant to cover weekday afternoons at our facility in Widnes, Cheshire. You will be tasked with closing the facility, granting access to customers, giving the best customer service possible and assisting the Office Manager with basic accounting and administrative tasks.

Slight variations on the number of hours & days etc. will be considered - please be clear when contacting us as to what hours you are available/would like to work.

Widnes, Cheshire.

**Hours**

Monday to Friday 12.30pm - 5.30pm

Extra hours available from time to time, to cover staff holidays and absences etc. Working/Opening hours may be negotiable.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Opening and closing of site
- Liaising with customers both face to face and via telephone, providing excellent and friendly customer service
- Taking incoming and making outgoing calls regarding customer accounts/payments and prospective customer quotes.
- Setting up new customer accounts - completing relevant paperwork, setting up direct debits
- Producing customer invoices
- Taking & Allocating payments
- Signing for deliveries
- General filing
- Documenting & reporting any issues
- Keeping office & customer areas clean and tidy
- Considering the safety of yourself, other staff and customers at all times
- Must have good customers service skills, be friendly, willing to help and have good attention to detail
- Accuracy when completing accounts work and taking payments is essential
- Must be comfortable working on their own
- Must be trustworthy, reliable and have good time management skills
- Experience of using accounts software would be an advantage but is not essential
- Experience of using social media and writing posts/adverts etc. would be an advantage
- Induction training along with any other training applicable to the position will be provided
