**Job Summary**

Andale veterinary centre are looking for a full time veterinary receptionist to join our team.

We are a busy well equipped small animal veterinary practice with a friendly supportive team of 5 vets, 8 nurses and 5 receptionists.

The role includes:
Manage and deal with appointment bookings in a professional and efficient manner
- Greeting clients and their pets for appointments, being sensitive to their needs while promoting a professional image at all times
- Be a positive member of the team
- Ensure that reception and other areas of the practice are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and are presentable at all times
- Bereavement handling - offer emotional assistance to clients in sensitive situations
- Be happy to discuss financial issues including payments with clients
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations and local policy within the surgery
- Previous experience working in this type of environment would be an advantage

The position is for a 37.5 hour week varying shifts between 8am - 7pm with 1:5 Saturday mornings.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.48 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
