Working as an Engagement Officer Within the corporate property team means that she gets to meet people from all walks of life within the community supporting the development of positive change, especially being the voice for young people where it matters - in education, training, or employment. Her experiences and her amazing ability to relate to others means that within the first few months of joining our team, she’d already made a huge impact on things like accessibility in the Borough. Tiffeny feels heard and that’s because we know how important it is to listen.

**The Role**:
As the Head of Corporate Landlord, you can make your own powerful contribution. In this role, you’ll oversee the development and implementation of stretegies, policies, and procedures relating to Property Services, acting as the Lead Council representation on property management matters with services and relevant strategic partners. You’ll recognise potential, identifying opportunities for service and business improvement and managing change and implementation where necessary.

You’ll determine the strategic vision and direction for the service, taking an outcome focused perspective and weighing wider implications and long-term impact in your decision making. From stakeholders to colleagues, teams to senior officers, you’ll influence, communicate, and liase across all levels of the Council and beyond, building effective working relationships wherever you go. Your focus will be on consistent and continuous improvement, putting our customers and their property needs first at all times.

**About You**:
An established professional with practical knowledge and experience of using strategic planning to improve organisational and customer service delivery, you’ll have a track record of delivering programmes on time and to a high-standard. With experience of measuring and reporting on the performance of a portfolio, you’ll have a high level of understanding of government legislation and of the issues facing local government.

With experience of budget and resource management, business planning, and translating strategic objectives into operational plans, you’ll be a person capable of driving change and empowering staff. On a personal level, you’ll be an effective communicator capable of building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of individuals and organisations.
