**The Role**:
As the Head of Engagement and Strategy for our Oxford Street Programme, you’ll make your own powerful contribution. Our vision for Oxford Street is an ambitious one that will strengthen its status as the nation’s high street, and we’re looking for someone to develop and manage the place-based engagement and strategy for the overall programme and its individual elements.

In this role, you’ll lead, deliver, and oversee engagement across all projects, you’ll lead the delivery of strategic workstreams, managing programme communications and messaging, and setting recommendations for improving engagement. You’ll be the lead contract for externally commissioned engagement activities, liaising with a range of stakeholders, colleagues and organisations to get the best out of these relationships. You will bring people together to solve strategic delivery challenges, resolve conflict points and oversee the governance of the programme and individual projects.

You’ll manage and guide members of your team in developing engagement workstreams and activities, working towards maximum efficiency, and identifying opportunities for innovation.

**About You**:
An established professional with significant experience of leading engagement, strategic planning and delivery on complex programmes, you’ll be capable of building strong, collaborative relationships with a range of senior stakeholders. You’ll have substantial knowledge of procurement and supplier relationship management, and experience of developing effective evaluation, performance and risk management frameworks and processes. You’ll have worked within a complex political and service environment with a diverse range of colleagues, organisations and stakeholders.

On a personal level, you’ll be an excellent communicator with honed analytical, visualisation, and interpretation skills. You’ll have the innate ability to effectively multi-task, and work flexibility within a programme with changing needs. A natural leader, you’ll be capable of motivating, developing and shaping your team. Most importantly, you’ll be a person passionate about ensuring Oxford Street continues to be a global destination that provides an unrivalled visitor experience and remains a vibrant and diverse business environment.
