**Administration / Booking Administrator (Radiology)**

**Full-time 37.5 hours a week**

Salary £21,520 a year
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday

**The role**
We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated customer focussed bookings administrator required to join our extremely busy and friendly team. This is a fast paced position that is constantly changing so you will have proven experience in strong administration skills and have proven ability to organise, adapt and prioritise whilst working under pressure. Experience within healthcare administration will also be an advantage. You will be expected to deliver a first class service to our patients, and support to your colleagues in other areas during busy periods. Excellent communication skills at all levels, keyboard skills, attention to detail and a good sense of humour are therefore essential for this post. The successful applicant should be flexible and able to work additional hours to assist the department in holiday and busy periods.

**Responsibilities**
- Liaising with patients by phone & letter
- Booking appointments
- Liaising with consultants and their secretaries
- Ensuring timely completion of appointments onto the system
- Preparation of clinics

**What you will bring with you**
- Excellent organisational skills
- An excellent standard of computer literacy to include experience in Word & Excel
- Healthcare administration experience (advantage)
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills - written and oral
- An excellent standard of computer literacy to include experience in Word & Excel
- The ability to work within a team
- The ability to time-manage
- Experience using a Patient Administration System (PAS) an advantage
