Staff Welfare Co-ordinator

The Staff Welfare Co-Ordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our staff area by being the ‘Go-To’ person for all Caprice_ restaurant_/_back of house_ staff. You will manage staff meals, handle administrative tasks, welcome team members and maintain a clean and organized back-of-house area. This position is essential for fostering a positive work environment and supporting the efficiency of our restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Staff Meals Management:
- Ensure staff meals are served on time and maintain a high standard of quality.
- Monitor inventory and order ingredients for staff meals as needed.
2. Administrative Tasks:
- Assist with administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.
- Coordinate uniform distribution and record uniform inventory.
3. Welcoming Team Members:
- Greet and welcome employees as they arrive for their shifts.
- Provide information, answer questions, and assist with any immediate needs.
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all staff.
4. Cleaning and Organization:
- Ensure the back-of-house area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards.
- Oversee the disposal of waste and recycling materials.
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry is preferred but not essential
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
