Training and Education Coordinator

**Salary**: £28,500 - £32,500 pro rata

Our client is a membership organisation, specialising in sports medicine and supporting the education and career development of healthcare professionals. Due to growth they are now looking to recruit a Training and Education Coordinator to the team on a part time basis (20 hours/week). This role includes planning, overseeing delivery, and evaluating the success of all of education and careers events, including digital and in-person events, such as the annual conference. The role will ensure a consistently high standard of events, which are well-promoted, attended and valued.

THE ROLE:
Pull together educational content, resources and requirements for conferences, working closely with all the team to bring everything together and ensure a successful event.
Overseeing course delivery, preparation, quality, taking action on feedback received, ensuring tutors are trained and evaluated and all quality checks are in place.
Managing delegates, ensuring they have appropriate pre-course materials and information, ensuring needs are met.
Obtaining and analysing feedback from events to report to Head of Education and Careers to ensure quality of provision.
Put in place and use quality checking methods for all events.
Managing quality of existing resources used for events.
Ensuring education systems and processes, including platforms, IT, accessibility are fit for purpose, working with the Head of Education to develop new policies or systems as needed.
Establishing and working with quality systems to ensure resources and delivery are fit for purpose, in line with the organisations mission, and accessible to all.
Sourcing appropriate tutors and venues for conferences and education events.
Liaising with venue management, ensuring all provision meets delegate needs.
Creating content for promotional activity of educational events.
Liaising with membership team regarding member needs, membership activity and supporting member engagement.
Researching other events and training opportunities to ensure market knowledge.
Coordinate the organisation of training courses and events, including the annual conference, at multiple locations, including virtually, working with colleagues in the team and other stakeholders.
Contribute to team development including website, office, practices and processes, CRM
Active participation in team meetings.
Active participation and lead in Board Development meetings in respect of education
Working to budgets.
Exploring ways to increase income through new and existing education for external customers.
Supporting with improvement processes, taking the initiative to suggest improvements and innovative solutions.
Attending external events/exhibitions/meetings as well as the annual conference.

THE CANDIDATE:
Experience of co-ordinating training and / or events.
Excellent standard of English, both written and spoken.
Knowledge and experience of IT systems and platforms used to deliver education and training.
Ability to negotiate and influence.
High level of communication skills.
Confidence with public speaking.
Ability to think on the spot and act professionally under pressure.
