Zachary Daniels are supporting the search for a National Sales Manager ideally with a background in either hospitality, sports or leisure to join a thriving sporting events business. Our client has been established for over 250 years and stages some of themost recognised events in sport. Operating across 15 locations nationwide.

The National Sales Manager will lead a team of Sales Executives within their region, managing performance and sales to achieve and exceed financial targets in Hospitality sales. You will be expected to maximise business from new and existing customers throughan innovative approach whilst delivering the best experience to all our customers.

Role summary:

- To be responsible for the delivery of the hospitality sales budget for the region and each venue alongside other members of the team
- To be responsible for the delivery of our Hospitality offer at each venue in the region. To work as a key member of the National Sales Team and provide support to the non-hub members
- To develop an account management plan to ensure the region maximizing all commercial opportunities from key existing clients
- Ensure the team KPI's are managed to achieve department daily and weekly standards, conducting regular one to ones to manage performance
- To be aware of competitor pricing, understand the dynamics of the local market and the demand generators, and the effect it has on profit
- To work with the Sponsorship Department in developing sponsorship sales from hospitality bookings and assist the Head of Sales in developing Partnership opportunities from the corporate client bases
- To assist the Head of Hospitality with the recruitment, management and development of the hospitality sales team including regular team meetings and the conducting of annual appraisals
- To plan and lead the business development for the hospitality team. Identifying new markets and targeting strategy
- Events and/or leisure industry knowledge
- Previous experience selling hospitality
- Excellent customer service experience
- Proven track record in sales
- Proven ability to win and convert new business
- Sales driven with a high level of tenacity
- Strong Leadership skills
- Outstanding organisational skills

This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week with the expectation to work some weekends and/or evenings to cover events. Interviews are taking place imminently so please get in touch today to be considered.
