**SEN Teaching Assistant**

**ABOUT THE SCHOOL**

Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or support worker who can support children in an SEN Primary school in Moston, Manchester.

The school is for children aged 3-11 years with learning difficulties and additional complex needs such as autism, physical or sensory impairments. Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and caring individual who can support children on a 1:1 basisor within small groups.

Located in Moston the school is located close to major motorway networks and it easily accessed by public transport.

The position is open to all experienced Teaching Assistants and support workers who have some experience in a similar role. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

**EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Previous experience in a similar setting
- LEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant/or equivalent and above is preferable
- GCSE Maths and English and Computer literate
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

**TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST**:

- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years

- Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
