**Location: Cupar**

As an Assistant Service Coordinator, you will be an integral member of a team dedicated to providing high quality care and support for individuals within our Cupar service.

Our Cupar service provides flexible support for individuals with mental health issues, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. The support we provide is person-centred, taking account of individuals’ ambitions, needs, and preferences. We enable people to develop independent living skills, manage challenges and make the most of opportunities. No day in our service is ever the same, but every day is rewarding.

In the role, you will commit most of your time to supporting the individuals in our

Cupar service. You will place the individuals we work with at the heart of our activity, developing and implementing support plans which enable them to achieve the things that matter to them.

You will also contribute to the ongoing improvement of the service, providing guidance and support to our staff team and playing a leading role in demonstrating the difference we are making. You will liaise regularly with families, as well as health and social work colleagues. And you will work closely with our Service Coordinator, assisting them to ensure that our support is of the highest quality.

We are looking for a dedicated, driven and passionate individual with the desire to ensure great support and great lives for the people we work with. Empathy, kindness and a positive approach will help you succeed in a role which is both challenging and life-enhancing.

Ideally, you will have two years’ experience in a support and care setting, with knowledge and understanding of supporting individuals. You will have an understanding of the qualities and skills required to develop a high-performing team.

While experience at a supervisory level is not essential, it will be beneficial.

If you hold an SVQ 2 qualification in social care - or in a related field, in line with

Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration requirements - this could be the opportunity for you.

**The benefits**

**Requirements**:

- You must be able to work shifts which include evenings, weekends and sleepovers/waking nights.

Kingdom Support and Care will meet the cost of this check.
