Salary: £23,277.28 – £26,150.19

Hours: 38 hours/week (30 days holiday/year)

Shifts: Mainly late shifts 14:00-22:00, with double shifts including weekend work, and occasional early shifts 07:30-14:30.

The Role

As an Outdoor Activities Coordinator, you will facilitate a range of engaging activities that enable our young people to explore new experiences. Your responsibilities will include organizing excursions and recreational activities during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays. Building connections within the community will be essential to provide social opportunities for our young people.

You will also conduct outreach sessions, visiting young people in their local areas to engage them in activities that foster community integration. Assisting with outdoor education will be a key aspect of your role, ensuring that the activities promote social, emotional, and physical development.

Establishing trusting and supportive relationships with the children and young people is crucial. You will act as a role model, helping them navigate their challenges and reach their potential. Your approach will involve encouraging positive behavior while addressing any unacceptable actions. Additionally, you will support their independence by working collaboratively to develop essential life skills and routines.
