Work Placement Officer

**The role**
**This is a part-time role, 30 hours per week, with an actual salary of £20,745-£22,195 per annum (0.81 FTE).**
**Duties include**
- Co-ordinating and recording all work placement programmes for all students across College in partnership with curriculum teams.
- Working closely with Careers Coaches, Success Coaches, Curriculum and employers to ensure a pro-active approach to developing and promoting all placements across College.
- Develop employer relationships that lead to the creation of placement opportunities of high quality, and linked to the needs of students on the Traineeship programme, enabling the effective matching of students to placements by the Traineeship Team.
- Promoting the Business Plus team, working with Lead Business Partners to establish links with employers who are keen to support learners on all work placement programmes.

**Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required**
- GCSE - Maths and English - Grade C or equivalent (Essential)
- Qualified to Level 3 (Essential)
- Relevant qualifications in any of the following areas: IAG counselling / mentoring / youth work (Desirable)
- Experience in engaging stakeholders & external companies (Essential)
