**The Role**:
As a Planning Adviser, you will work as an integral and collaborative part of the Planning Team. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to our Franchise Partners (FPs) with the planning, licensing, and building control process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver a high-quality, high-value planning service for Franchise Partners to their HMO portfolios.
- Provide pre-mentoring location reports to Franchise Partners
- Ensure education on sustainable development is incorporated into planning support
- Be proactive in keeping ahead of industry changes and legislation updates and keep Franchise Partners up to date via presentations, blogs and internal forums.
- Carry out background research on properties and planning proposals including planning history searches and Permitted Development checks.

**What We Are Looking For**:

- You will have a planning-related qualification (or be working towards charted status desirable)
- An exceptional customer-centric approach and familiarity with architectural software (CAD and Floor planner knowledge would be beneficial)
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present confidently.
- Organised, resilient, and calm, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including databases, records systems, or enquiry management systems.
- Confident networker, able to converse with diverse groups and nurture authentic relationships.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage a busy workload while remaining flexible and agile.

**Hours & Location**:

- Permanent full-time role with the option of hybrid working.
- Work Location: In person at Bournemouth, Dorset.

**Salary**:
£24,000-£26,000 per annum.
