Full-time, hybrid Payroll & Benefits Manager role at a research institute near Woking, ASAP start
**Your new company**A research institute in the Surrey area, which delivers global-leading research. They have a strong sense of purpose, values and behaviours and a commitment to scientific research and knowledge sharing. They are looing for a Payroll & Benefits Manager in theirfriendly and busy HR department of 9 members.
**Your new role**Delivering payroll and reward and benefits to over 350 employees. Manage the relationship with the outsourced payroll, pensions and benefit providers, lead on HR projects and reporting requirements (e.g. monthly HR dashboard, KPIs, gender pay gap, ED&I).
Payroll work: Review the internal end-to-end pay and benefits administration process and answer queries; identifying trends to improve the query service and the payroll process. Support audits and the wider HR team. Check payroll compliance and accurate detailson the HR/payroll system, starters/leavers, P11ds.
Benefits work: manage the complete benefits portfolio; oversee third party supplier relationships; employee discount scheme; ensure effectiveness of cycle to work, childcare allowance, pension scheme and promote these benefits internally. Administer salarysacrifice arrangements.
**What you'll need to succeed**:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent through experience
- Solid monthly payroll processing experience
- Good knowledge of reward and benefits and an understanding of tax and HR legislation
- Collaborative
- Experience of HR systems
- Select HR experience (desirable)
