We provide care and support to looked after children in residential and semi-Independent supported accommodation. All employees work as a team to safeguard children and provide them with the necessary guidance to enable them to live a positive and meaningful life as they approach adulthood.

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team in Norwich.

**In return we are looking for someone who can commit to**:

- To ensure that the home you are working in is run in accordance with all statutory, regulatory and standards requirements including:
Children’s Home Regulations 2015;Care Standards Act 2000;Juventas Policies and Procedure;
- Ensuring that all children and young people have their needs met and are safeguarded from harm, neglect, abuse or exploitation.
- Responding to any child care concerns appropriately.
- Wnsuring that the building, equipment and furniture is well maintained.
- Working effectively and can co-ordinate with social workers, parents/guardians and other connected professional agencies.
- Working within the Ofsted regulatory framework;
- Able to undertake regular sleep-ins.

**We have a key criteria that applicants need to meet in order to carry out the core duties of the role and to meet our Ofsted requirements. Applicants for this role need to**:

- Have a UK driving licence, and the ability to reliably commute to the home.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, OR are currently working towards this qualification.

**Salary**: £27,300.00-£28,800.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care OR are working towards it. (required)
