Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead

We are excited to be in a phase of culture change at Centrepoint and are looking for a passionate **Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Lead** to join us on this journey. This key role will play an instrumental part in our ongoing transformation towards a stronger, more equitable, diverse and inclusive culture.
Our organisation has been making steady progress in laying down strong foundations for our EDI objectives and actions, and we now have a solid plan in place to improve Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion across all areas within our work and sphere of influence.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong will and determination to drive our EDI plan forward, using both your expertise and inner strength to make a tangible impact.
The person who joins us will be responsible for the of our EDI strategy. You will be central in driving improvements in EDI across our organisation and removing barriers that prevent the best possible outcomes for all our colleagues, and ultimately our young people.
You will work with colleagues, partners and stakeholders across organisation to strengthen the diversity of its workforce to create a more inclusive culture; champion promotion from within or workforce; empower communities across all teams and play a key role in stretching the ambition of the organisation.
- Knowledge and experience of leading the development and implementation of strategic and operational EDI work.
- High degree of cultural sensitivity and understanding of EDI best practice.
- Delivery and embedding of inclusive change initiatives, with an understanding of the dynamics of change and the effects on people.
- Ability to work independently, owning projects and work streams to support in achieving the organisations EDI ambitions.
- A passion for creating an environment where diversity is celebrated with ability to inspire and engage others.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, presentation and reporting skills.
